Apartment No. 88 Le Loi, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1 - another historical relic, has also been classified as a national historical relic. It's room No. 88/5. According to historical documents, it was here in 1928 that the Conference to establish the Cochinchina of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Union took place.
For Saigon and Cochinchina, in October 1926, after completing political training classes in Guangzhou, two comrades Phan Trong Binh and Nguyen Van Loi were sent to Saigon to prepare for the establishment of Ky Bo Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Association in Cochinchina. And in the last days of 1926, after days of preparation, Ky Bo Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Association in Cochinchina was born in the center of Saigon. After receiving the Red Union organization of Comrade Ton Duc Thang, the number of members of the Ky Bo Cochinchina increased, the Provisional Ky Bo was established by Comrade Phan Trong Binh as its Secretary.
Although operating for more than two years, from preparing staff and ideas for the birth of the first Party organization in Cochinchina, it marked the maturity of the revolutionary movement in Cochinchina and Saigon - Cho Lon in the years when our Party was not born. The relic of room 5, house No. 88 Le Loi - District I - has been recognized as a historical relic by the (former) Ministry of Culture and Information under Decision No. 1288 - VH/QD dated November 16, 1988 and is the place where the first congress of the Vietnam Youth Revolution was held in Cochinchina.
